The Holy Spirit, working through the Executive Council, gave birth to the Youth Ministry in 1996 to efficiently and effectively cater for the highly-specialized needs of the Church’s teeming youths.
The Youth Ministry took its origin from what started in 1980 as the Pentecost Students and Associates (PENSA) which was instituted to address the Evangelistic needs of the students in the tertiary institutions. Thereafter, PENSA and the Witness Movement were merged into the Pentecost Youth Evangelistic Movements In 1991 with Apostle Peter Ayerakwa as its Director.
The first Director of the Youth Ministry was the then Pastor Daniel Komi Noble-Atsu (now Apostle) with Apostle Daniel K. Annan as its patron. He did a two four-term tenure from 1996 to 2004. The current Director is Pastor Emmanuel Kwesi Acquah with Apostle Opoku-Onyinah as patron.
The Youth Ministry comprises all the youth of the Church between the ages of 13 and 25 and above if the interest is there, including PENSA which now operates in the tertiary as well as second cycle institutions.
