ITI PENSA CONFERENCE
The ITI PENSA Conference was held at the University of Ghana from 8th to 11th January 2010. The theme for the conference was: “Manifesting His Glory” (1 Cor. 3:18). The main speaker was Pastor Eric Nyamekye. The conference recorded a total of 2700 participants.
LEADERSHIP SEMINAR/WORKSHOP
This was held from 7th to 8th February 2009 at the Pentecost University College, Sowutuom – Accra. In all a total of 138 participants attended, which comprised Area Youth Leaders, Assistant Area Youth Leaders and two other participants from each Area
YOUTH WEEK - LONG PROGRAME
The youth week-long programme took place nationwide from 9th to 15th February 2009. It was well patronized by all the Areas.
SINGLES' CONFERENCE
This was held on Saturday, 25th April 2009 at the Trade Fair Centre, Pavilion ‘A’ for all Singles gathered from all 6 Areas in the Greater Accra Region. Over 500 young men and women attended. YOUTH MINISTRY CONVENTIONS
This was held on Saturday, 7th November, 2009 at Pentecost International Worship Centre, Dansoman Area. The Areas that qualified to compete at the junior category level were: Agona Swedru, Tema, Asamankese, Aflao, Goaso, New Tafo, Essam-Debiso, and Tamale. For the senior category the Areas that competed were: Assin Foso, Madina, Asamankese, Aflao, Berekum, Ejisu-Konongo, Tamale, and Asankragwa. At the end of a very keen competition, Assin Foso Area came first for the senior category and Goaso Area took the first position for the junior category.
NATIONAL SPORTS FESTIVAL
The maiden sports festival organized by the Ministry was held at the Elwak Sports Stadium on Saturday, 22nd August, 2009. The Areas that participated were Tema, La, Madina, Dansoman, Kaneshie and Kasoa. Some sporting activities that were undertaken were soccer, tag of peace, volley ball, basket ball, lime and spoon, and sack race among others. La Area was the overall winner.
PENTECOST YOUNG MISSIONARIES OUTREACH
The 2009 young missionaries trip was to the Afram Plains Area from 1st – 31st July, 2009. 102 participants embarked on the trip. A total number of 1,538 souls were won; 518 received Holy Spirit baptism; and 402 received water baptism.
COUPLES' NIGHT
This took place at the Coconut Groove Regency Hotel on Sunday, 28th June 2009. In all a total of about 40 couples attended.
ISSACHAR CONFERENCE
The Issachar Conference was held at the Pentecost University College, Sowutuom from 6th-9th August, 2009. The theme for the conference was “EXPLOITS”.
