GLORIOUS ITI PENSA CONFERENCE 2010
The aroma of God's presence engulfed the Sarbah Field –the New Revival Grounds of the
University of Ghana during the 17th annual Inter-Tertiary Institutions conference of
Pentecost students and Associates (ITI-PENSA)
The conference dubbed Glory Conference 2010 under the theme “MANIFESTING HIS
GLORY “2cor 3:18 started on 7th January 2010. Apostle E.K .Barabu the Area Head of
Madina opened the series of welcome addresses. He carefully explained the essence of the
existence of PENSA and the Youth Ministry. He lamented on the moral decay that infest our
modern society and corrupt the Youth of our day. Regarding the youth he had this to say
“……..the youth of our day live in a very complex world and no wonder they themselves and
their problems have become very complex “. He challenged the participants to pray, fast ,
study and meditate on God's word as a preservative in the midst of crookedness , corruption
and moral decadence .
Apostle J.Appiah Aidoo, the patron of the Youth Ministry described the theme of the
conference as timely and relevant because of the times we find ourselves in .He encouraged
the participants to humble themselves, seek the Lord and totally commit themselves to
hearing from God before leaving the spiritual hill of knowledge, so they can radiate His glory
to affect others .According to Apostle Aidoo, “we have a destiny to fulfill and there are no
shortcuts to that “. He stated that, the manifestation of glory would only be possible if we
walk and stroll where His glory is. He pronounced that “this conference would be one of the
most successful ever held in the annals of PENSA“
Apostle Dr. Opoku Onyinah, the chairman of the Church of Pentecost
gave a sermon to climax the activities of the conference. He explained the
circumstances leading to the fall of man from God's glory. He cautioned
the participants on the deceptive nature of sin and admonished that they
approach God for covering than put on false covering. He admonished
believers to develop a daily relationship with God. According to him, “you
must be kept in the cleft of the rock where you are cleansed; you then
speak and sing to God as He transforms you to manifest His glory”. He
also ordained new officers for the church. He cautioned them not to
assume what they are not.
